Satisfy Your Winter Boot Quest
“Wow, I get to be the first to review a place!?! I feel the same way as in my Da Maria review about letting the secret out about this little gem of a store. I discovered this place B.Y. (before Yelp) this January when I was on my winter boot quest. All the cool kids were sporting Sorels and I wanted a pair too. But I wasn't cool enough to know to buy in the fall, before there was actually snow on the ground. The usual places (Get Outside, Sporting Life) were completely out of my size in the style I wanted (which, if you are wondering, is not the funky pink and black houndstooth with neon laces – again, I'm not that cool)."
Ample Selection of Styles and Sizes
"Circle Shoes seems to be a family-owned shop and sort of no-frills especially compared to the rest of the boutique-y places you find along this end of Yonge. They had ample selection of styles and sizes and the proprietor knew her stuff and brought me a few choices in similar styles in my size quickly and without the requisite eye-roll/trudge down to the stockroom I encountered at other places. They keep their stock in the back of the store. They carry lots of brand names, including Ugg® and Birkenstocks®. It's worth the trip uptown!”
